Congratulations to the following people! You have received majority votes on the following positions:
Christina Leonardi - President
Faheem Haider - VP Finance
Ali Jaffer - VP Communications
Nadia Pulla and Anusha Sivaligam - VPs Operations
Samuel Joo - Operations Director
Personal Congratulations to all of you! To the new council, you bring experience and knowledge. I'm more than certain that 2008-2009 will be a great and memorable year for APAA. I'm glad you all are part of it.
I should also mention that two other positions were filled earlier last month because of deadlines at the ICAO. They are our new ICAO junior and senior Ambassadors, Laksh Vig and Michael Baxter, respectively. Congratulations to you as well! I anticipate great work from these super-students!
Open positions will be promoted and applications will be available for all full-time accounting students of Atkinson immediately. Applications are available on our website, including instruction on how to apply, and must be submitted by May 20th.
The following positions are now open for applications: (exact title subject to change)
Communications Team: IT Director, Marketing Director, ISACA Ambassador, and Communications Director
Operations Team: CMA Ambassador and CGA Ambassador
Applications will be reviewed for the two weeks following the deadline, and interviews will follow for the two weeks after that. We hope to have the entire team formed by the end of June, leaving room for second interviews and reviews should the interview team need the extra time in the recruitment phase.
The interview team consists of myself, Christina Leonardi, and an HR representative from HRSA, Samita Vasudeva.
At "Communications" interviews, we will also have Ali Jaffer and/or Christy Ngo.
At "Operations" interviews, we will also have Anusha Sivalingam and/or Nadia Pulla.
Ambassadors are welcome to attend the interviews of their represented designation should they feel the need to do so.
Again, Congratulations to the newly formed APAA members of the 2008-2009 academic year. I'm excited to see an even better year for APAA take place, and am more than confident that this team can do it.

-IT Director Supplementary Application
All applicants are required to fill out the "Council Member Application" and "Student Member Application." Applicants interested in applying for the Information Technology Director position must fill out an additional "IT Director Supplementary Application."
