Certified Management Accountants of Ontario

CMA Canada grants a professional designation in management accounting and regulates its members under the authorization of provincial legislation. CMA Canada, a self-regulating body, maintains the highest standards, practices and professional conduct in management accounting to protect the public interest. CMA Canada represents 40,000 Certified Management Accountants (CMAs) and 10,000 students and candidates in Canada and around the world.

Lori Dalton, Regional Director of Marketing & Communications, CMA Ontario

Lori Dalton is the CMA Regional Director, Marketing & Communications for GTA East. Previously, Ms. Dalton worked as the hiring manager for IBM Canada’s Finance Division, and was with the organization for almost 30 years. In this capacity, Ms. Dalton transformed the company’s interviewing and hiring process, and was instrumental in promoting IBM at universities and financial events. Ms. Dalton is a professional speaker and learning consultant who has advised, coached, and instructed hundreds of people in business organizations and government agencies throughout North America, the Caribbean, Brazil, and England. Amongst her myriad accomplishments, Ms. Dalton founded “Meeting of Minds," a convergence of professionals interested in expanding their knowledge on a variety of different subjects. She is also highly involved in the Women’s Success Alliance, which is dedicated to assisting women professionals to acquire and share business expertise. As the CMA Regional Director servicing York University, Ms. Dalton brings a wide array of skills and experiences, and she is certain to be a valuable resource to the APAA community.
